The Coolest 8 Year Old
Probably the best analysis of what religion does to kids and how we lie to them, captured by the Coolest 8 Year old in the world. Far more eloquent than I could ever be.

I’m not sure I’d go as far as the superlative “coolest.” While it was a pretty good rant, I think I’d reserve “coolest” for something that was not obviously scripted by someone else for the kid. Since this was clearly scripted and almost certainly not in the kid’s own colloquialisms, I’m left wondering if she believes (and understands) everything she is saying (a good chance, but there’s significant room for doubt) or if she’s just acting, or, even worse, spouting her own form of indoctrinated propaganda.

*sigh*
I don’t care if it’s indoctrination - I’m through the gate and on the other side. If we’re going to indoctrinate, let’s indoctrinate at looking at the facts:
1) Religion kills
2) People blaming violence on kids have no one but themselves to blame
3) Heinlein: Juvenile Delinquents is redundant.
If we’re truly concerned about the actions of our children, then let’s put our money (aka budget) where our mouth is.

“1) Religion kills”
Funny you should say that, because atheistic humanist regimes have killed more people in the last century than all previous centuries combined. And what’s worse, these despots kill their own people as readily as others, even more so.
I’m sorry, but if you believe that religion has been the major killer than you are not only wrong, but deluded.
Oh, and the Nazi’s were consistently carrying out Darwinism, not any supposed claimed form of Christianity. If evolution truly is the process that brought us this far then eugenics would be the best thing for us. And helping the weak to live and reproduce would be foolish. This idea that people are of any value at all is a religious one, more specifically a Christian one. Maybe you should do a little research about how the world changed thanks to Christianity before spouting or endorsing ignorant hate speech.
